The purpose of the essay is to see if the pupils of Ross Tensta Gymnasium feel it is necessary to have an existing cooperation between the police and Ross Tensta Gymnasium. I would like to know how the cooperation works between Ross Tensta Gymnasium and the police and also if the cooperation is visible for the pupils. Furthermore I would like to know if it is necessary to have cooperation between schools and the police even though there are not any obligations to have any.The methodology I have been using is a qualitative analysis. The entire essay is based on interviews which I have recorded and later transcript it into writing. The theories which I have been using are Wacquant?s use of territorial stigma and also the concept of us and the others in which Stuart Hall explains.

Abstract The main aim for this research is to come to an understanding for why young people choose to apply for the machine program when the time comes for the students to make their choice of upper secondary school program. The second aim for this research is to try and come to an understanding on how to make the machine program more interesting for future students to apply to.  The method of this research is quality method with the usage of interviews. With a total of six students in the first grade going on a school in the middle part of the country I tried to get answers to my questions. There are many things that affect students when they are facing what gymnasium program to choose and a very common answer by students in this study is that friends and work after school are some of the reasons for why students choose, for example, the machine program. The study also shows that parents has less influence of the students choice of gymnasium program and in fact, all students in this study made the choice to pick the machine program as their gymnasium program, but not always the machine program as their first choice. With the comparison of similar studies with my study the results are often in line with what other scientist have come up with.

The aim of this study is to examine the opinion of teachers as to the situation of young people suffering from Aspergers syndrome in the Sixth Form(gymnasium. In order to find this out I have chosen to interview four teachers with work experience of Aspergers in three different gymnasium in middle Sweden. They were confronted with the following questions: What resources are available for these pupils in the gymnasium? How do they experience that the school situation functions and how would they as teachers like the school situation to function for these young people at school?The result shows that special teachers have an extremely important function to fulfil. Those interviewed felt that there are sufficient resources available, for example guidance and further education for techers as well as both support and means for helping the young people.However, every teacher does not understand this handicap.

This thesis in sociology was based on a qualitative research strategy. Its intention was to analyze how a specific county in the middle of Sweden work to make the integration process of the unaccompanied refugee youths, with a Swedish residence permit, as good as possible, the other intention was to find out the possible following of this work.Interviews were done and statistics were found, this later on became analyzed together with the theories. The basic theories were integration and class theory.The mainly finding in this study was that that the integration of the unaccompanied refugee children leads them into a lower society class of the Swedish community. This since these youth are more of less forced to follow some steps in the education, which for many of them will lead to that they are too old to apply to the national gymnasium in Sweden, and therefore they only get education though the introduction program, which is not leading to a graduation from the gymnasium. Because of this they are not getting the same chances to succeed with the same kind of education as youth on other programs in the Swedish gymnasium..

I det här arbetet undersöker vi om musikläraren verkligen är så förberedd på yrkets alla delar som man borde vara efter avslutad utbildning. Studien är indelad i tre rubriker; Arbetsliv, Kunskapsmål och bedömning samt Utbildning; för att ge en övergripande bild av de olika delarna i utbildning och yrkesliv för musikläraren. Vi har valt att intervjua sex nyutbildade musiklärare som är yrkesverksamma inom grundskola och gymnasium. Vi tittar även på styrdokument för vad en lärarutbildning ska innehålla samt hur exempelvis utvecklingssamtal och betygssättning ska genomföras i grundskola och gymnasium.Vi har bl.a. kommit fram till att Kungliga Musikhögskolans lärarutbildning har brister i att informera lärarstudenterna om mentorskap, utvecklingssamtal och betygsättning..

Denna uppsats handlar om integrationen mellan matematik och byggteori på byggprogrammet på Rönninge gymnasium. Den tar upp tidigare forskning och aktuella utredningar som fastslår att yrkesräkning och infärgning av matematik i praktiska gymnasieprogram gör att eleverna lär sig mycket bättre. Undersökningen är endast gjord på Rönninge gymnasium och är därför specifik för den skolan, andra gymnasieskolor som har byggprogrammet kan ha andra upplägg. Fullständig integration mellan matematik och byggteori finns inte idag på Rönninge gymnasium, men visst samarbete förekommer i några byggkurser. Det jag vill visa på är att integration mellan kärnämnet matematik och karaktärsämnet byggteori är fullt möjligt, men att det som saknas är kurslitteratur som knyter samman de båda. I dagsläget är det upp till varje enskild gymnasieskola och varje enskild lärare att se till att infärgning av matematik i byggteorin genomförs.

Abstract This essay is about girls that have chosen a gender atypical education on a gymnasia level. Since we are living in a society that is still today gender segregated in both working life as well as educational area, we find it interesting that it still exist an paradox which leads us to the question ?why? those girls and boys, woman and man choose so differently. We are not aiming towards study how many girls that have chosen a gender atypical education but rather how these girls that are on the construction program in one of Stockholm?s gymnasium have deliberated and what it is that has influenced them.

Denna studie syftar till att utröna anledningen till att en stor andel av eleverna i gymnasiets kurs matematik A har svårigheter att nå kunskapsmålen, trots att de har minst godkänt från matematik i år nio, samt att finna utgångspunkter för att underlätta övergången från grundskola till gymnasium i ämnet matematik. En enkätundersökning om elevernas syn på matematik och matematikundervisning i år nio jämfört med i gymnasieskolans matematik A har genomförts hos elever i slutet av matematik A-kursen. Resultatet av studien visar att inga betydande skillnader existerar i elevernas upplevelse om stöd/lärarhjälp, undervisningssätt eller bild av kunskapsmålen mellan år nio och gymnasiets A-kurs. Ökningen i tempo och svårighetsgrad upplevs överlag som rimlig. En majoritet av eleverna uppger svårigheter att hantera det ökade kravet på eget ansvar för sin studiesituation som en avgörande anledning till svårigheterna att nå målen.
